Backpacking Dancer - Online Dancers

The Online Dancers is a personalized, one-on-one program designed for young dancers in training as well as those new or returning to dance after time away. Suitable for participants aged 5 through adult, the course offers a wide range of classes, including classical ballet, jazz routines, audition preparation, singing, drama, and stretching & strengthening exercises. You can also choose a customized package that combines multiple class types to suit your goals.

Throughout the course, you’ll receive valuable resources, such as recommended stretching and strengthening exercises to practice independently, reading material related to the dance world, and class homework to support your progress. Additionally, you’ll have access to our curated class Spotify playlist to enhance your practice outside of lessons.

All classes are conducted via Zoom, so you’ll need the app to participate.

Koh Create Studio

During my time living in Thailand throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, I founded Koh Create Studio on the island of Koh Tao. The studio offered a range of dance activities for residents of all ages, from children as young as 3 to adults. We hosted numerous workshops, performances, and welcomed guest teachers from around the world to share their expertise with our students.

Koh Create Studio closed in July 2024 due to my departure from the country. However, several students continue their training through online classes offered under The Online Dancers program.

Sophie combines nurturing support with high expectations, encouraging excellence without pressure. Thanks to Sophie, our daughter is now attending Tring Park School. We enrolled our daughter for the weekend workshop where she learnt dance, jazz, sang songs and played drama games and enjoyed a musical movie night, in a safe, harmonious, and fun-filled environment. Our daughter adores her private lessons with Sophie, and as parents we are also very happy. She is very professional while gentle, supportive and open to the students demands at the same time. In ballet, she helped our daughter to strengthen specific areas (feet, ankle and balance) with very quick results. Sophie's teaching includes a tailor made work program based on the identification of areas for further improvement in order to enhance dance skills. Her approach is also very comprehensive as she provides very useful dance materials and tutorials.
